An EOR (Employer of Record) is the legal employer of your workers in India โ€” they hold the employment contract under Indian labour law. A PEO (Professional Employer Organization) is a co-employment arrangement, which is not a recognized legal structure in India. For any foreign company hiring in India, an EOR is the correct and compliant model.

Standard onboarding takes 7โ€“14 business days from offer acceptance, depending on background verification and document availability. Most mid-level roles are live in 7โ€“10 days. Senior roles with extended notice periods start their first payroll cycle on their actual join date regardless of when we complete the paperwork.
