About the Role
A compliance-focused role within the payroll delivery team. You will track regulatory changes, file returns on time and ensure zero notices across all client accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- File monthly and quarterly statutory returns: PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, TDS (Form 24Q)
- Track regulatory changes across all states; update compliance calendar
- Manage compliance documentation: challans, acknowledgements, ECR files
- Handle notices and queries from PF, ESIC and income tax authorities
- Coordinate with client HR teams for employee declarations and proofs
- Support internal and client-facing compliance audits
Requirements
- 2–5 years of statutory compliance experience in payroll or accounting
- Deep knowledge of PF Act, ESIC Act, Income Tax Act (TDS provisions) and PT
- Experience filing returns via EPFO/ESIC portals, TRACES and state PT portals
- Strong Excel skills; ability to reconcile large datasets
- CA Inter or B.Com graduate preferred
Nice to Have
- Experience with multi-state compliance filings
- Knowledge of recent labour code amendments
